Thank you for supporting local businesses, and thank you for protecting your neighbours through social distancing <3
We won't be attending Seedy Saturdays for the coming weeks.
We are grateful to the organizers of these events for making the tough yet responsible decision to cancel/postpone these events.
In the meantime, we will be offering Seedy Saturday pricing online (3 packs for $10) and FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $20 until the end of May.
Through the challenges of the next few weeks, may you find comfort in community even when we aren't physically together. Let's stay connected - share photos of your seed-starting adventures to any platform with the hastag #birdandbeeseeds

Mid-Winter: Garden Brainstorming
If you're anything like us, you've barely noticed the cold this week because you've been daydreaming about the garden. What are you going to plant? How many new varieties will you try? What worked well last year? What will you try differently? This is a fun time of year. Maybe you're itching to get some seedlings started - and although it's still a little early to plant, it's not too early to order! Might we suggest a few heat-lovers to add to your your daydream-y crop plan:
*Start these heat-loving friends indoors 6-8 weeks before you plan to transplant. In Ottawa, that means start them sometime mid-April.*
